The International Doctorate Network in Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology (IDPASC) is an interdisciplinary network whose aim is to train a new generation of high-level experts in the fields of Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology.
The 6th edition of yearly IDPASC schools will be organized by the University of Nova Gorica and held in the newly renovated Lanthieri mansion, in Vipava, from may 23 to June 1st. The students will benefit from classes given by high-level experts in the fields of Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology and tutorials given by senior PhD students or postdocs.
The program is built on 4 main courses :
Elementary Particle Physics
Cosmology
Astroparticle Physics
Neutrino Physics
The school will have 9 days of lectures with one free/excursion day.
A limited amount of grants covering part of the fee will be available for IDPASC students.
The lectures will be held in Vipava campus of the University of Nova Gorica in beautiful Lanthieri mansion, while some tutorials will be held in our computer rooms at the campus in Ajdovščina.
